Chef Chanelle A. Watson

Born and raised in Ossining, New York, Chanelle A. Watson has always been a “go-getter.”  Graduating from the University of New Haven with a double Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies, as well as a Paralegal Certificate, Chanelle planned to become a lawyer or police officer. However, God had a different plan for her life and Led Chanelle to walk in her true Purpose, “feeding” people – through their stomachs, minds, and souls and helping them live – in purpose.

Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Chanelle was familiar with starting and running a business, so in 2010 she started Chanelle’s Heavenly Treasures. A dessert and catering business, which served the New York Tri-State area (NY, CT, NJ) and shipped to select States. Chanelle’s Heavenly Treasures has now transitioned into Chanelle’s Kitchen Collection. Affectionately known as “CKC,” Chanelle’s Kitchen Collection highlights Chanelle’s love and passion for cooking, baking, and serving others. Through the Collection, Chanelle offers a culinary experience that is unmatched and provides cooking solutions for her clients so, they have time for what really matters. From gourmet jams, prepared sauces, spice blends and more Chanelle has personally crafted a collection that tantalizes your tongue and engages your five senses.

In addition to Chanelle’s Chef hat, she also wears the hats of Published Author, Writing Coach, and Publisher. From a very young age, Chanelle always loved to write and create stories. On April 1, 2014, she published her first book, “From My Heart to Your Soul: A Collection of Poetry To Encourage, Inspire, and Awaken YOUR Spirit.” “From My Heart To Your Soul,” was written to reflect life’s setbacks, comebacks, and all that Chanelle witnessed and experienced during that time of her life.

To date, Chanelle has self-published a total of five books, which include a cookbook, children’s book, and devotional. She has also coached other writers to become Published Authors, and ghost-written numerous books. In addition, Chanelle and her mother have assisted other Author’s publish books with their mother-daughter publishing company, J&C Legacy Publishing. Chanelle’s love for serving people has also led her to found “Letters of Victory,” a non-profit organization spreading letters of encouragement throughout her local community and beyond. Chanelle is an active member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Tarrytown, NY where she serves as Deacon, Church Clerk, and Worship Leader and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
